Lanvin facts

Lanvin is and will be always one of my favorite brands, not only because of their lovely drawings and sketches or their amazing dresses, Lanvin is more than that. Let me explain:

1. Lanvin is a high fashion brand founded by Jeanne Lanvin (french fashion designer), she made beautiful clothes for her daughter that they began to attract the attention of other women so she decided to start her own store.

2. She was successful and began having stores that sold: menswear, lingerie, home decor and perfumes: Árpege was the most famous.

Lanvin es y siempre será una de mis marcas favoritas, no solamente por sus dibujos tan monos o sus vestidos increíbles, Lanvin es más que eso:

1. Lanvin es una marca de mucho prestigio fundada por Jeanne Lanvin (diseñadora francesa), todo empezó porque hacia vestidos muy lindos para su hija y estos empezaron a llamar la atención de otras mujeres por lo que ella decidió abrir su primera tienda.

2. Se hizo tan exitosa que empezó a tener varias tiendas que vendían gran variedad de productos: para hombres, para la decoración de la casa, lencería y sus perfumes, el más famoso fue Árpege.

3. Since the beginning Mrs. Lanvin began to make clothes in beautiful bright floral colours, so it became a signature of the brand. They even have special names: Lanvin Blue, Polignac Rose and Velasquez Green.

4. The first collection from Jeanne Lanvin was for children, then she began to make clothes for women.

5. Jeanne like black because she say it was the "chic ultime" it was the colour she wear all her life.

3. Desde el principio la señora Lanvin empezó a usar colores muy brillantes y florales en sus vestidos, así que se volvió un sello distintivo de la marca, incluso les puso nombres especiales: azul Lanvin, Rosa Polignac y verde Velasquez.

4. La primera colección de Jeanne Lanvin fue para niños, después empezó a hacer ropa para mujeres.

5. A Jeanne le gustaba mucho el negro por eso decía que era el color más chic, siempre lo utilizó toda su vida en su guardarropa.
