Lydia Lavin

Lydia Lavin is one of my favorite mexican fashion designers she makes me feel proud of my culture. I'm a textile designer so I love textures in fabrics, Lydia has amazing ones; you can see them in her vests and dresses. 

You know this spring the tribal trend is one of my favorites, this fashion brand has beautiful clothes in bright colors. 

I'm lucky to know Lydia and her daughter Montserrat in person, they are really talented and what I admire about them is that they  help Mexican Artisans and use Mexican dying and weaving techniques in their clothes. Lydia Lavin es una de mis diseñadoras mexicanas favoritas, me hace sentir orgullosa de mi cultura. Como soy diseñadora textil me encantan las texturas y esta marca tiene unas increíbles que principalmente se ven plasmadas en sus chalecos y vestidos.

Ya saben que la tendencia tribal es una de mis favoritas esta primavera, esta marca tiene opciones muy lindas con colores brillantes.

Soy muy afortunada de conocer a Lydia y a su hija Montserrat en persona, son muy talentosas y lo que más admiro de ellas es que apoyan a los artesanos mexicanos y también utilizan las técnicas prehispánicas de tejido y estampado en sus diseños.
